In order to become a part of our special sisterhood, each woman must successfully move through 4 phases...

# 1 - Interest

Delta Gamma Pi's official term for interested women is "W.I.I.M.S." (Women Interested In Multicultural Sisterhood).   W.I.I.M.S. who are looking to join or establish affiliate chapters agree to submit basic contact information to find out about general updates and upcoming rush revents.  An application packet should be provided.  However,  W.I.I.M.S. are under no obligation to join the sorority.

#2 - Pledging

The next step is to complete the application and remit the pledge fee.  This will begin the 8 phase affiliate pledge process.  Participating in the pledge process does not guarantee sisterhood.

#3 - Initiation

Once the pledge process is complete, the new soror will be initiatied into the sorority.  She can now don sorority colors and letters.  She may also share her line name and number to others within the organization.

#4 - Induction

The final step will make the new soror eligible to receive her membership credentials and serve the sorority in an officer capacity.  The soror will be publically "revealed" along with others who were in her line.  All inductions occur on either Nov. 11 or May 11.
