If your school currently has any social or social/service fraternities or sororities that are recognized by the school, you are not eligible to pledge the Delta Epsilon chapter of Delta Gamma Pi.  You may (depending on the requirements of your school) start a new Delta Gamma Pi colony at your school.  Please refer to the sorority's national website for more information regarding sorority expansion.

Many schools have organizations whose name contains Greek letters, but they are in fact honorary or professional-based organizations.  These are not the same as social or social/service-based organizations.  A clue as to whether or not the school is home to these types of organizations is by the presence of governing councils where several Greek-lettered organizations are a member of.
