Delta Gamma Pi sisterhood is available to women who are any of the following:

• Women in the Pittsburgh, PA metropolitan region who have already obtained a post-secondary degree (Associate's level or higher) from an accredited institution
• Women in the Pittsburgh, PA metropolitan region who are working professionals with either an occupational licensure or certification of relevant skills
• Women attending an accredited post-secondary institution in the Pittsburgh, PA metropolitan region that does not have an established presence of social fraternities and sororities among it's roster of student organizations recogized by the institution.

It is also important to note that Delta Gamma Pi does not accept women who have been initiated into another social fraternal organization or social & service fraternal organization previously.  All applicants must also disclose which organizations they previously pledged (even if they did not gain membership).

All active sorors participate in annual service and social events on an ongoing basis.  Sorors also network with each other and other organizations in the Pittsburgh community who share our goals of inter-cultural understanding, community service, women's empowerment and continuing education
